Mr. Vergasov:

Thank you for the web site reference, it is consistent with standards and assessment in the industry.

The City has advised the next door property owner and a removal permit is being issued to them next week.

It is their decision whether or not to remove the tree--not the City's requirement.

A formal case number is not assigned because we are addressing the situation through the protected tree removal (PTR) process.

Upon issuance of the redwood tree removal permit, the City will consider the matter settled.
